With a selectable frequency range of 200 kHz to 400 kHz, the Sonic 2022 delivers exceptionally clean, dense data for precise hydrographic mapping and seabed characterization.

Engineered for flexibility and performance, the Sonic 2022 supports CHIRP (pulse compression) for improved range resolution and variable swath sector control up to 160°, allowing users to adapt the system in real time based on survey goals and environmental conditions. Whether mounted on small vessels, USVs, or ROVs, the Sonic 2022’s low power consumption and compact design make it easy to integrate into a variety of platforms.

This sonar system provides real-time beamforming and offers multiple beam spacing options (equidistant, equiangle), ensuring data consistency across various seabed types. Optional add-ons include backscatter dataTruePix™ imagery, and water column data, enabling advanced feature detection and classification.
